🧠 Role Overview
We’re seeking a hands-on Qiskit Quantum Developer to implement a financial optimization problem using IBM’s Qiskit SDK. You’ll convert the defined problem (e.g., portfolio optimization) into a quantum-compatible format using QAOA or Ising models, and return usable results for the PoC API.
🔧 Responsibilities
- Translate the financial optimization problem into a Qiskit-based quantum algorithm
- Build the quantum circuit using QAOA or Ising Hamiltonian formulation
- Use simulators (and optionally real IBMQ backends) to test and run solutions
- Format the results for easy API integration and return
- Document all logic for handoff to the API/backend team
✅ Requirements
- Proven experience with Qiskit and quantum circuit design
- Familiarity with QAOA, Ising models, or VQE algorithms
- Ability to debug and test quantum jobs on simulators and live backends
- Strong Python skills and basic experience with NumPy/Pandas

- Prior work on finance-related quantum problems
- Experience with IBM Quantum Experience job submission and token setup
